So the past few years the trend for mismatched bridesmaids dresses is more popular then ever and a year ago when I was planning my wedding I had hundreds of pins of beautiful dress combos with various colors that I loved. I was so excited to find unique dresses that were textured and colored perfectly to match my vision… then reality hit – I had one pregnant bridesmaid which meant short dresses were not going to work and after online shopping and several trips out with the girls we discovered that doing the matchy/unmatchy theme was harder then we expected. I am so grateful for my maids of honor and my bridesmaids who stood around for hours holding up dozens of different combos of dresses before we finally settled on a set of colors that was **PERFECT**. At least I think so 🙂

We decided to go with the traditional chiffon bridesmaid dresses – all floor length, but each had a different cut and pastel color so each dress was still unique. The result was even better then I expected. Below are links to the actual colors and dress styles that I purchased. You may not be able to find the exact dress we got as they seem to change the styles every year, but the color pallet will likely not change for a while. Also, Weddingtonway.com is a great resource because they will send you color swatches so you can see the fabric in person.

We also matched the groomsmen ties to the girls dresses which worked great. Dessy makes ties in the same color as their dresses so most of the ties were super easy but they didn’t have the buff color or the blue color from Watters so we had to find other colors that were close. Cloudy and Cameo did the trick!
